- Tiger Tool's Tie Rod End Remover provides a safe way to “shock” tie rod ends loose without risk of damage to threaded areas, rubber seals and grease nipples. As always, the Tiger Tool Tie Rod End Remover is manufactured from high-grade steel for strength and durability, ensuring you longevity and quality for the lifetime of your tool and also has black oxide finished coating that resists corrosion, giving each mechanic and technician peace of mind that this tool will endure their job. The 10310 is easy to use: first remove the cotter pin and castle nut, thread on the tool until it bottoms out, then back it off one complete turn, and then strike the top of the tool with a hammer so the tie rod will "pop" loose. This tool will work on all commonly found class 3-8 transportation trucks and equipment. (For use with Ram 3500/5500, for use with Chevrolet 3500/5500, for use with Ford F-350/550, for use with Isuzu NPR, for use with Kenworth, for use with Peterbilt, for use with Freightliner, for use with Mack, for use with Volvo, For use with European Trucks and Equipment etc.).
