Each gear has 37 teeth containing the English alphabet, the digits 0 thru 9 and a decimal point (or period). The machine is relatively easy to use to encode your own highly encrypted secret messages! Send and receive secret messages to anyone who has a machine. We provide an encryption worksheet with your order that is also available electronically and can be useful in encoding and decoding messages. Hardwood construction with gears cut from ¼” thick wood. All letters and text are deeply laser engraved into the wood. The gears turn on alloy steel pins. Each gear is 4" in diameter. Base measures about 21" x 4.5".
