This latest generation of the globally renowned DIAMOND series, developed in partnership with acclaimed loudspeaker designer Karl-Heinz Fink, offers a blend of classic DIAMOND affordability, contemporary industrial design, and superior sound quality.The DIAMOND 12.4 speaker features the new Klarity cone material, a unique blend of Polypropylene and mica, designed to reduce flexing and provide a lightweight cone with high rigidity. This results in low coloration and a lightning-fast response, setting a new benchmark for budget speakers.The Klarity cone is complemented by a low-damping surround, achieving a balance between low coloration and expressive dynamics. The precision-made magnet system, complete with an aluminum compensation ring, minimizes distortion and intermodulation, ensuring a clean, clear sound.The speaker's voice coil, wound on a high-power epoxy/glass fiber bobbin, is a feature rarely seen in speakers at this price point.
