Schools were closed and virtual learning became the only means of education. To slow down the virus, the government issued a national lockdown protocol for every city in America. Staying home for months became the norm. We had to abide by the rules that were set in place. Therefore, it wasn't uncommon to experience a wide range of emotions during the extended time of being quarantined. First, I'd like to say, "It's okay to feel the way you feel." Moreover, expressing your feelings, thoughts, and emotions, is the first step to restoring your well-being. It allows the mind to engage in healthy conversations and apply effective coping skills to build resilience.Also, during this time of COVID-19, something happened that has sparked a movement for change. A number of American citizens were killed or murdered because of the color of their skin.
