The phenomenal success of "Tainted Love," where it spent 43 straight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, helped open the U.S. market for other bands such as The Cure and Depeche Mode. Also featuring the classic tracks, "Bedsitter," "Sex Dwarf," and "Say Hello Wave Goodbye," the album not only defined a genre but also an entire decade. The Expanded Edition includes the original album, plus B-sides and non-album singles from the Soft Cell 1981-82 era. 2 LP set on black vinyl.
