- OVERVIEW A joint compound roller makes light work of getting large amounts of drywall compound onto walls and ceilings - ideal when you need to cover and smooth out large surface areas. The unique ½-inch thick reticulated polypropylene nap on LEVEL5 drywall compound roller covers enables them to accept up to 50% more compound than other high-nap rollers. The specially designed nap also releases the compound uniformly on the wall. LEVEL5 2-inch corner compound roller frames are designed specifically for use with LEVEL5 compound roller covers (#4-002). This roller is specially designed to streamline the application of compound to internal corners before drywall tape is applied. The roller cover incorporates a nap-free center, which reduces the risk of excess buildup at the center point of the corner during application LEVEL5 compound roller frames are very durable. They feature a solvent-resistant handle with a polypropylene core and a full TPE soft-grip overmold that enables a reliable grip, even in wet conditions. The handle has an ergonomic profile for all-day comfort on the jobsite and textured thumb pads provide additional control. The frames are professional grade, with a heavy duty ¼-inch steel shank that resists bending and has been nickel plated for corrosion resistance. ABOUT LEVEL5 COMPOUND ROLLERS LEVEL5 Compound Rollers available in 4” (#4-005), 9” (#4-905) and 12” (#4-906) lengths for applying compound to flat surfaces. A specialized 2” inside corner roller (#4-006) is also available. Replacement roller covers for all variants are available in singles and three packs.
