- Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with the SharkBite Max brass push-to-connect angle stop valve. Made from durable DZR brass with a reinforced stainless-steel collar, this valve connects directly to stub-outs to control water flow to fixtures and appliances. It installs quickly without the need for tools, soldering, or glue—even in wet lines—and is ideal for tight spaces. The push-to-connect design allows for use with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and SDR-9 HDPE pipes. With a 1/2-inch inlet, quarter-turn full-port brass ball valve, and compatibility across multiple pipe materials, this fitting supports fast, secure repairs and upgrades. Rated to 160 degrees F and 125 PSI. Suitable for underground and behind-the-wall use (wrapping required when burying). Can be rotated after installation and removed using a disconnect clip or tool (sold separately). Built with certified tolerance to oxidative degradation.
