This 50-pound bag of green ice melt crystals is formulated for snow and ice removal in subzero conditions, melting ice down to -10°F. The fast-acting deicer begins working on contact to break down packed snow, black ice, and frozen buildup on concrete, asphalt, steps, stairs, decks, porches, patios, entryways, and car parking pads. The formula contains calcium magnesium acetate, sodium chloride, and magnesium chloride. CMA functions as an anti-corrosion agent that helps reduce damage to concrete, metal surfaces, and surrounding vegetation than traditional rock salt or standard chloride ice melt products. It is suitable for residential and light commercial ice control where surface protection matters. This time-released ice melt formula remains active on treated surfaces longer to assist with freeze-thaw cycle control and reduce ice refreezing. It can also be applied as a pretreatment before snowfall to help prevent ice bonding and make snow removal easier with a snow shovel or snow blower. Green-coated ice melt crystals provide visible coverage during spreading, so you can distribute evenly across driveways and sidewalks. Clear visual application helps reduce overuse and supports controlled, efficient deicing performance. After dissolving, this de-icer leaves no slick or greasy residue and does not create gel-like buildup on treated areas. It will not track onto indoor floors or carpets after foot traffic, helping reduce transfer from boots and shoes into entryways and garages. When used as directed, it remains easy on the skin during handling.
