- Have you ever wanted Fanatec to make an affordable wheel with a screen? Well so far it has not happened but now you can turn your Fanatec CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2 into a screen capable wheel without losing any functionality. Our quick detach screen comes with everything you will need (except the allen key). Back bracket locks into existing screws that hold the quick release mount on the rear. Then to power the screen and send it data we include a coiled USB A to USB C cable which attaches to your PC and the other end to the screen. The back bracket acts as both a guide for the cable and as a way to quickly snap the screen on and off the wheel with two squeeze tabs. Once the screen is installed Sim Hub (free software) is used to gather data from the game to the wheel via a dash format of your choice (we recommend Lovely Dash). Sim Hub is configured for Vocore screens, which is what we use, so you simply choose your dash and how it behaves. The screen is also a touch screen so you can quickly cycle through different dash options on the fly. The top mounted screen adds another level of immersion as well as providing data that might not be available in your given sim user interface right in front of your face, plus it looks super high tech. Tips Loop the cable once around the wheel shaft to take some of the stress from the USB C plug. Once every couple of uses unplug and unwind the cable as Fanatec wheels will sometimes make an extra rotation when powering on adding extra unnecessary loops. Use the included cable guides to further secure the cable as needed to minimize connection issues. Disclaimer This product is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fanatec.
