The result is less strain on your tire carrier and hinges, prolonging the lifespan of your rear swing-out gate. Hooke Road's Bronco Tailgate Reinforcement Kit works with the factory spare tire carrier or most aftermarket spare tire carrier kits. Direct bolt-on installation. First remove the factory tire spare carrier. Then install the Tailgate Reinforcement Strengthening Steel Plate Kit with supplied bolts. Some basic hand tools are required. It takes about 30 minutes or less to get it done.
