- This Python Injection Remanufactured Fuel Pump offers OEM quality at a fraction of the cost. Python Injection precision remanufactures every fuel pump to meet or exceed the specifications of the original, factory unit. Here is the technical information for Python Injections remanufacturing process. Every fuel pump has the armature surge tested for air /layered shorts or opens. All commutators are surge tested for shorts/opens. The fuel pump brushes are replaced or resurfaced as required. Also, the roller race plate is renewed with a highly chemically resistant and low wear material. The roller plate and rollers must meet diameter and surface standards or they are replaced. The pressure limiter is tested for proper seal and pressure engagement, and all internal O rings are replaced. Finally all remanufactured fuel pumps are tested for flow rate, flow pressure, noise level and sample testing is done at 250 degrees and at -10 degrees.
