Our tool has swing-out accessories like a flat blade screwdriver and conductor removal hook to speed up correcting a mistake. We assure you that you will learn to rely on this tool for everyday use and you will likely ditch your old punch down tool.There are two settings for this tool: High and Low. This setting is used to adjust the amount of force required before the kinetic energy mechanism is engaged and makes the “bang” noise. Use the High setting for 23 AWG or thicker conductors. Use Low for 24 AWG or thinner conductors. Last, but not least, our punch down tool actually does cut the conductor excess off during the punch down process. Many tools on the market promise this, but often don't deliver.
