- This book was born out of my knowledge of OOP and my knowledge of prompt engineeringas I began to use both using, as a transformer based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, ChatGPT (ChatGenerative Pre-trained Transformer). I have called this programming technique SOOP (Semantic OOP) precisely because I have experimented with how, with this transformer, it turns out to be possible to write OOP code where the output of the written code is inferred by the transformer itself both without prior examples and on the basis of already written code and, in addition, it turns out to be possible to query the transformer (by means of human language) both to get information regarding the code and to interact with the code itself. Thanks to the introduction of the taggingsystem (experimented with the Claude transformer) it also turns out to be possible to assemble new classes by exploiting members present in existing classes, being then able to retrieve information about the various classes by means of simple sQuery (semantic Query). The character of this paper, precisely because of its nature, is characterized more by an empirical rather than a theoretical approach, although I have attempted to provide a broad overview of both OOP and prompt engineering.
