- Sensation is observation in which we are engaged throughout life, the feelings, images, a world of subjects taking action with the power of their knowledge. It is knowledge discernable in the movement of every object if it is observed with insight. These are the intricacies of thought seen as the space and time of objectivity, billowing in conception and disappearing with the reflection of them in other objects. Observation is essential to every endeavor, and what we look for defines us. In life the connection of real intentions are clarified by sensation, the touch of bodies, the meeting points of objects forming the world. Dr. Albaugh’s series, entitled Epistemology, currently lists three volumes. Observation is volume number three. He is an independent philosopher, living in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife, Lynda, and their animals. They have four children. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught philosophy for many years.
