- A-Game 20 is the strongest retinal emulsion from Geek & Gorgeous. With 0.2% Retinal, this formula is recommended only for experienced retinoid users whose skin is already accustomed to a certain Retinal level, such as with A-Game 10. Retinal is a member of the retinoid family (Vitamin A family) and is directly related to the anti-aging superstar Retinol. However, while retinol requires two conversion steps to become its active form, Retinoic Acid, Retinal requires only one. This is why the Retinal is estimated to convert into Retinoic Acid more than 10 times faster than Retinol. Once converted, Retinoic Acid helps skin cells produce structural skin components, such as collagen, and supports the skin’s renewal process. The result is visibly youthful, firmer, smoother, and more even skin. A-Game can also help even out the skin tone, and since Retinal has antibacterial properties, it is a great choice for acne-prone skin. The formula also contains Panthenol, Allantoin, and 1% soothing Ectoin to help prevent irritation caused by the active ingredient retinal. If you're new to retinal, we recommend starting with the Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 5 serum, followed by the A-Game 10 as the next step. Only after that should you upgrade to the Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 20 formula. Begin using it every other day and gradually increase the frequency to minimize irritation. A-Game should be applied in your PM routine after liquid and gel textures. Finish with a moisturizer and apply SPF 30 or higher in the morning.
